USBButtonBox

USBButtonBox is major advancement in reaction and response design for any platform. USBButtonBox use USB to connect to the host and uses special drivers to talk to Matlab script for full operation.

 Currently USBButtonBox is available for PC only. Mac version will be available soon.

Event Timing:

USBButtonBox has internal precision clock to time events independent of the host. This clock is set to 10000 Hz and counts up to 65000 count or 6.5 seconds. If the event does not occur in this time interval the timer will recycle.

There is a external clock source is also provided that user can supply their own custom clock.

 

Buttons:

The buttons are large with soft touch feel. They come in standard gray color. Other colors are available upon request. The basic system come with three buttons arranged in a row in the front of the unit. Up to 8 buttons can be added in the main unit.

 

External Buttons and Controls:

USBButtonBox has a dB25 external extension port, thru which user can add any other controls they wish. Such as extra buttons, light switches, general controls etc…

Power Supply:

USBButtonBox can operate form either host USB powered or a universal power supply. If  user wishes to add external connection to the device, then external power supply is recommended.

 

Matlab Scripts:

Matlab can be used to easily operate the system. Many examples have been provided as a guide line.

We offer special services for writing customs scripts for your experiments. Please contact us with your specifications and we can provide a cost estimate.

 

Button Label Template:

USBButtonBox comes with one removable clear templates which you can any labels you wish for your experiment. We offer these clear templates at a very low price to customize the button box for any layout
